1. Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
During the holidays, the Dallas Arboretum plants winter foliage and features special holiday exhibits, programs and events. Enjoy holiday tea or a specialty holiday dinner in the DeGolyer Garden Cafe, or attend the Holiday Treats and Cheer and sample wine, cheese and desserts. In past years, the event has included a live reindeer, pictures with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, story time with Mrs. Claus, meet with Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and face painting.
